Privacy Policy

Last updated September 8, 2026. Phavai is a public content site. This policy explains the limited information used to operate the site, remember on-device fit priorities, measure guide performance, and track outbound shopping clicks.

Information you provide

If you email Phavai, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, message, and any source links or corrections you include.

Fit priorities saved on your device

Some buying guides include a fit finder. When you select priorities, such as comfort or value, the selected option keys are saved in your browser's localStorage for that guide so the choices can be restored on a later visit. Phavai does not use this feature to save your name, email address, or a personal profile.

The locally stored value remains on your device until you clear browser storage or replace the selection. Using the fit finder may also send a separate analytics event containing the selected priority choices, the resulting product match, and a fit score, as described below.

Google Analytics 4

On the public Phavai domain, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) measures visits and interactions so we can understand which guides are useful and where the site needs work. GA4 may process standard device, browser, approximate-location, referral, page, and interaction data under Google's terms and privacy practices. Phavai configures the tag with IP anonymization and does not intentionally send names, email addresses, payment details, or other directly identifying form data to GA4.

Custom events may record a page or guide title, site section, product name and rank, CTA placement, retailer or source domain, and selected fit priorities. An outbound shopping click is recorded before the browser opens the retailer. These events measure interest; they do not tell Phavai whether you completed a retailer purchase.

Shopping links

Phavai may link to Amazon, brand stores, or other retailers for shopper convenience. When you follow one of these links, the retailer receives the request and may receive the referring page plus affiliate or campaign parameters included in the URL. The retailer then handles information under its own privacy policy. Link availability does not affect Phavai's rankings.

Data sharing

Phavai does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers needed for hosting, analytics, and email, or disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect the site. Outbound retailers operate independently and apply their own policies after you leave Phavai.
